This weekend is Carlsbad's Annual ArtSplash Festival:

ArtSplash ... is a FREE, two-day, non-profit, family event that promotes and benefits arts within the community. ArtSplash is a community-wide partnership of organizations and businesses working together to establish an Annual Family Event showcasing North County.

Are you a theater fan? Sammy is currently playing at the Old Globe Theater:

Welcome to The Cardiff Lodge!

Steps away from the blue Pacific Ocean, and just minutes from all San Diego has to offer, there is a place where lush gardens bloom year round. A quaint, seaside village - Cardiff-by-the-Sea - is where people are friendly and the pace is relaxed. We have seventeen luxurious bed and breakfast and guestrooms, each room luxuriously decorated with its own theme and decor. Weddings and the Rooftop Garden

One of the most unique aspects of the Cardiff-by-the-Sea Lodge is our beautiful rooftop garden. Throughout the year and especially during the summer, many a happy small wedding is held up there. With panoramic ocean views, a jacuzzi, and a fire ring, the rooftop garden is also flower child to the green thumb of owner James Statser. There is not a month that flowers are not blooming from every surface possible; but April is when the gardens really take off in a flurry of blossoms!
