Love Struck Inspired by A Midsummer Night's Dream at La Jolla Playhouse
La Jolla Playhouse and Jon Block Creations present a unique art and fashion event entitled Love Struck celebrating the Playhouse’s production of A Midsummer Night's Dream on Saturday, August 21 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. The event is part of the Playhouse’s ongoing “Performance + Cocktails” series.The evening begins at 5:00 pm with a music-infused cocktail mixer and art exhibition on the Playhouse’s Weiss Lawn, followed by a vintage apparel showing, featuring the SDWHM collection, at 6:00 pm. At 7:15 pm will be a high fashion runway show with a special introduction from Playhouse Artistic Director and Midsummer director Christopher Ashley. The evening caps off with a performance of A Midsummer Night’s Dream at 8:00 pm. Admission to Love Struck is free; there Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets to Midsummer for $40.00.
