Yep, another weather post.

We hope everyone had a really wonderful Easter with all their family and friends! The warm weather is trying to make an appearance, it seems, but these winds aren't having any of it!

At least the crazy weather gives us clouds that look like this:

March Madness

March Madness means getting away and enjoying the off season at the Lodge. Daylight savings time is just around the corner, sunny days are in the forecast the suf is great, and the local restaurants are showing off fresh spring time menus. Come join the madness!

Merry Christmas!

It's only two more days until Christmas, and I am headed home to the snow! We here at the lodge just wanted to send out a very merry Christmas to all our guests past, present, and future. We really appreciate all of you! May your holiday be full of laughs, family, and friends, and we hope to see you in the new year!

Welcome to The Cardiff Lodge!

Steps away from the blue Pacific Ocean, and just minutes from all San Diego has to offer, there is a place where lush gardens bloom year round. A quaint, seaside village - Cardiff-by-the-Sea - is where people are friendly and the pace is relaxed. We have seventeen luxurious bed and breakfast and guestrooms, each room luxuriously decorated with its own theme and decor. Linger over breakfast on an ocean-view terrace and savor sunsets around an open pit fire ring high on our rooftop garden. At night, enjoy our hot tub under the stars.

Weddings and the Rooftop Garden

One of the most unique aspects of the Cardiff-by-the-Sea Lodge is our beautiful rooftop garden. Throughout the year and especially during the summer, many a happy small wedding is held up there. With panoramic ocean views, a jacuzzi, and a fire ring, the rooftop garden is also flower child to the green thumb of owner James Statser. There is not a month that flowers are not blooming from every surface possible; but April is when the gardens really take off in a flurry of blossoms!
